In this thesis development of new and efficient synthetic strategies for biologically active novel heterocyclic derivatives were achieved using conventional as well as microwave irradiations methods. The latter is considered as one of the green ways of organic synthesis. New series of bioactive heterocycles having various types of ring systems were synthesized via the reaction of fluorine containing compounds or sulfone derivatives with various types of aminoazoles, hydrazonoyl halides and α-haloketones, using thermal heating and microwave irradiations. In addition, synthesis of new series of heterocyclic compounds carring morpholine moiety through the reaction of thiosemicarbazone or hydrazone derivatives with hydrazonoyl chlorides or α-haloketones. The structures of all synthesized derivatives as well as the reaction mechanism were discussed and assured based on their spectral data and alternative synthesis when possible. In addition, elaborated study for the antitumor and antimicrobial activities of selected derivatives have been achieved and the obtained results revealed the high potency of some of them compared with standard references used in the biological screening
