dc.description.abstractSaudi Arabia released Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development, which included a renewable energy market item in the axis of a prosperous economy aimed at adding 5.9 GW of energy that is renewable to regional manufacturing till 2023 as an initial stage, as well as localizing a significant part of sustainable energy and its value chains in the economy of the country. That includes areas of innovation like development and research, manufacturing, as well as others. For this purpose, the National Renewable Energy Program has launched a strategic plan under the “King Salman Renewable Energy Initiative” and “the Kingdom's Vision 2030”. The initiative's goal is to revolutionize and raise the quantity of the country’s renewable energy generation. The programme began with a specific and coherent roadmap to broaden the available local energy sources, boost the growth economy, and work to achieve long-term monetary sustainability in Saudi Arabia. Considering the Kingdom's Vision 2030 objectives, an industry of sustainable energy and aiding its development by striving to reach the objectives. Resulting in a less hazardous environment and reducing emissions of CO2. The KSA developed the “National Renewable Energy Program” having active goal of localizing “renewable energy” industry in the Kingdom. As the initiative strives to activate local sources of renewable power, it must adhere to the highest international standards. As a result, by 2023, “9.5 Gigawatts of renewable energy” is expected to be generated. [1]. This initiative will contribute effectively to supporting the Kingdom's economy and developing human cadres by achieving investment expansion in new sectors, attracting the investments of international and local companies, and establishing technology. . In addition, as petrol prices are rising, solar power has become more vital to Saudi Arabia. [1]. This research is constructed as follows. First, Energy resources inside the Kingdom and compared from two-point of view in chapter I. Second, Chapter II presents the current energy situation and the government's plans to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 in the energy field. Finally, Chapter III offers the value of solar energy and the ways to improve and develop the area of solar energy [1].en_US
